Daily Haiku ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We store this in your profile so other users can see who wrote a haiku.
Content you create. Haikus you write and choose to publish are stored and displayed in the community feed. Haikus you keep private are visible only to you.
Usage data. We may log basic analytics such as app opens and feature usage to understand how the app is used and improve it.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or other payment details — those go directly to Stripe. We only store a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription status.
Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that power the app:
Your account and haikus remain in our database until you delete your account. Published haikus that other users have liked may be retained in anonymised form for community integrity purposes.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Daily Haiku is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
